C.N.Blue
C.N.BLUE (Code Name Blue)
Korean: 씨엔블루
A South Korean indie rock band which debuted on August 19, 2009 in Japan with their first mini-album, Now or Never. However the band has just only debuted in South Korea with the song - I'm a Loner in 2010.
Am so in love with this band! Mainly because all 4 of the guys plays the drum, guitars super well at the same time sing well, rap well. Their leader - Yonghwa himself is a rookie actor starring in You're Beautiful (A hit!) + plays the guitar + main vocalist + rapper + write and compose his own songs (in their Japan album)! I really can't wait to see what the others have installed for their fans. =D. Ps : THEY HAVE THE LOOKS TOO! xP
Check them out!!!!
=D. Love Yonghwa~~~

Winter Holidays Part I - Shopping Spree
After Bioorganic Chemistry finals FINALLY put an end to MMA English Medium First Year students, my friends and I decided to go on a whole week shopping spree. (yea...sounds crazy, but it was fun!)
Day #1 - Metropolis

On our first day, Sherlinn + Jin Ling + Yee Lin + Kalai + Thong + Jolene + Siok + Me decided to drop by Metropolis at the northen part of the dark green track of the Metro. As excited as we were, we decided to leave at 11 in the morning! @@" (I thank God for the chance to discipline myself to listen to my alarm clock and actually get out off bed after turning it off!)
I totally love the lighting effect of the building. If you see the picture on the top, you can see the simple day - beautiful night view. =) Too bad we were not allowed to take picture inside the building. It's a beauty how they decorate the inside of the mall.
Day #2 - Kievskaya - European Mall
We spend our 2nd shopping spree day in a European Mall (or at least that's what all of my friends term it as). This round, only Yee Lin, Sherlinn, Siok and I made it, as the others wanted time alone in the hostel to rest and sorts. It was still a pleasant time spent together.
The four of us actually planned to go ice-skating in an open door skating rink in Red Square (a tourist hotspot), however our plans changed from ice-skating to shopping in red square and finally to shopping in Kievskaya mall because of the super cold weather making it almost impossible for us to skate happily and how we are tired of okhad-ni-riad (red square) mall.
However, we got to spend our morning having mcD together - I JUST NOTICED CHICKEN BURGER IS CHEAP! 29 rubles which is RM3 per burger~ AND I am in love with their chocolate-ice cream milkshake cocktail. =D. Also, we got to get a closer look at the famous Cathredal and more of Red Square + Goom!

And after spending weeks complaining that my bagpack is close to degenerating and promising myself to get myself a new one, I finally got a red one from MNG in Kievs. Love the bag - though not something i was looking for initially seeing how i intended to get a bagpack, not a handbag-come-slingbag, am still happy =D.
I also FINALLY got a phillips kettle from Kalooshkaya mall only for 999 Rb = RM 100 - RM 110. =D (Sorry daddy for spending without consulting you first) >.<" Gave my dad a shock when i return to my hostel to skype him saying i spent over RM300 today! LOL. Don't worry daddy, i'll learn to treasure the things i've bought. =D
Well, apart from shopping at other places - Bilyaeva Ashan, Yasenova Mega, Kuzmin Mega (just today!) and more to come >.<", of course I also did a few interesting and useful things.
1. Went to return my Bioorg books to the library (wanted to do that long time ago!) and got my new set of books = three new Anatomy Atlas T.T and Histology Text Book. I actually can't believe that I am excited for the next semester. o.o"
2. Cook ABC soup + noodles for dinner. =D Will post up recipe #2 in student-survival cooking thingy soon. =D.
3. Finally made myself a journal + daily planner. =D. I needed one desperately seeing how forgetful I am turning to be lately. I love my personalized journal - seeing how it became so pretty from intially only a normal Ashan notebook.
4. Updated my blog!!!!! ^^. Woohoo!
Ps : Got myself a CNY red blouse today from Kuzmin Mega. wee~

A Day to Arbat
To celebrate 2010, my close lovely bunch of friends and I decided to go have a day out in Arbat street...to find out after travelling for long, that Russians don't work for almost the whole firs week of January because of New Year celebration and their Christmas on 7th of January.
We first planned to have lunch in TGIFs but too bad we went in and saw all their workers sleeping on the couch, must have been a long day for them.
Oh well...although the excitement died down seeing the deserted Arbat Street which is suppose to be one of the top tourist spots in Moscow, we still decided to not let that bring our mood down and had fun taking pictures and sorts.
My Crown ^^.
The people in Russia have very strong Christmas spirit. You see building and roads being decorated, shopping complexes decorated beautifully. Moscow is literally one of the places where you can put on a red Christmas hat as a winter hat while shopping around during New Year and Christmas witout being called weird.

Christmas High Tea
Have recently attended Christmas High Tea held by non-other than our lovely seniors from MF!!! =D I even joined the caroling team. It was fun! ^^.
After finally arriving the destination - had to rushed from class (had skill test = and I will forever remember what GLYCINE is.. -.-") almost 10 stops away from the destination by train. I quickly changed into my dress, make myself pretty pretty a little and off I went to help out first with Ushering the people in by helping out with the ticketing ushers.
After ushering and practicing our final rounds for caroling, Ruby, the carol team (Adeline, Shoba, Sarah, me, Ruby, Angeline, Tiru, Aaron, Zachary, Magi led by lovely Alyssa + musicians Gan and Julian) quickly went on stage after main course is served and performed. Sadly we did not do well in our first two songs but the last three was good. =D So Happy with the caroling team, did not regret joining at all.
After that my friends and I had a fun time snapping pretty pictures. =D I shall let the pictures do the talking. =D
Darryl, Kiithern, skip, Dhanraj (I think), Angeline, Me and Liyu in the middle.
Maribelle, Kiithern, Great Jewish Dancer, Abraham, Danny, Amira and I
Poor unnie's innocent lips
May Shi and Julian

With Choir at the back backing up the chorus.
